Citroen Tubik concept

Citroen has revealed the Tubik,  a large upright MPV concept which draws on the French automaker's previous Tub van from the late 1930s. The surface language of the MPV - the car doubles as both a commercial van and a people carrier - is decidedly more technical than previous Citroen concepts, but it still sports a resolutely rounded aesthetic. Its front face draws heavily on the 1948 Type H van, which was built up through to the 1980s.

USED CAR buyer confidence is unlikely to improve significantly in 2011, meaning that demand for safety net products such as extended warranties will remain strong, says RAC Warranty. The company points out that at the end of 2010, used car warranties are still being enhanced – by both length of time and depth of cover – at around the same rates as during the worst parts of the recession, indicating that the mood of consumers remains cautious. Acura ILX concept

The luxury compact sedan is set to launch later this year, representing a move by Acura into the compact premium class for the first time in order to attract younger buyers into Honda's upmarket range. The car features a slimmer version of the Acura shield grille and lamps that are cut into by the bumper surface. In profile, the ILX's silhouette, DLO, and rear door shut line are reminiscent of the Lexus IS, but Acura's rising feature line, which forms a visual muscle over the rear wheel (despite front-wheel drive architecture) adds a level of distinction.
